Privacy Policy

What information do I collect?
Your IP address is automatically recorded in local server logs. If you post a comment, your name, email address, IP address and (if provided) your chosen URL are also collected and stored in a local database as well as sent to Akismet for spam checking.

What do I use your information for?
If your IP address is involved in a perceived attack on this website, it may be used to block your access.

If posting a comment, the information provided is used only for the purpose of identifying and indicating who comments belong to on the page they are posted, verifying the poster is not a spammer, and not used for anything beyond that. You may receive an e-mail confirmation request message to prove you own the e-mail address provided, and that will be all.

Spam checks are handled by sending user posts through the Akismet service. Akismet’s privacy notice is available for viewing here.

How do we protect your information?
All supplied information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. No passwords, credit cards or other sensitive information is ever collected.

Do I disclose any information to outside parties?
I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties (with the exception of the Akismet service for anti-spam checks) your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who may assist in operating my website, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
